Pakistan, Ghana Sign Agreements During First Political Talks

ACCRA – Pakistan and Ghana have signed two Memorandums of Understanding during their first-ever bilateral political consultations. The Pakistani delegation was led by Additional Foreign Secretary Hamid Asghar Khan, while Ghana’s delegation was headed by Ambassador Khadija Idrissu. Officials said the consultations aim to strengthen cooperation and create structured dialogue between the two countries. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that this marks a new chapter in Pakistan-Ghana relations.

The two MoUs focus on political consultations and cooperation between the foreign service training institutions of both countries. Officials noted that these agreements will improve coordination in diplomatic training and institutional collaboration. Analysts said such agreements help build long-term relationships and strengthen professional ties between foreign service officers. The move also formalizes a process for future exchanges and knowledge sharing.
